Eriopezia Caesia (Pers.) Rehm The correct genusname is Eriopezia, but this was changed into Eriopeziza due to a slip of the pen by Rehm, in some literature listed under that name.

This species is not uncommon in the Netherlands on 'recent' sawing surfaces and tearing splits of Oak wood, it is occuring in the initial phase of decomposion.
